Summer Games Done Quick 2022 closed out last night, and when all was said and done, they raised over $3m on Saturday night.

Second, two more events were announced at the end of SGDQ The next event will be the Frame Fatales' "Fleet Fatales", which is an all-women speedrunner session of the event taking place November 15th-21st, 2020 The other one will be the annual Winter edition called Awesome Games Done Quick 2021 taking place January 3rd-10th, 2021[...]
Whether or not that changes the commentary system with so many people have to do things remotely for what is essentially a grassroots charity event, we probably won't know until it happens.
SGDQ Online will run from August 16-23, completely on Twitch.
