Arrow Season 6: Oliver and Dinah Are on a Collision Course Over Laurel

Arrow returns tonight after a brief hiatus for the Winter Olympics. The last we saw Team Arrow, they were still split into two groups and had just taken down Cayden James (Michael Emerson) and deactivated the bomb. But the rest of James's group got away, and Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo) walked into the police station and killed James. The wounded Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) from Earth-2 was taken to safety by Quentin Lance (Paul Blackthorne) in an attempt to get through to her better nature. But Dinah Drake (Juliana Harkavy) is still hellbent on killing her regardless of the consequences.

The CW has released two clips for tonight's episode. The first one shows Dinah and Oliver (Stephen Amell) being shown footage of Laurel taking the city's money that they had paid James. The city is desperate to get that money back. Dinah and Oliver disagree on who should go after it — Oliver is certain that Dinah will kill Laurel, and Dinah is sure Oliver would be too soft on her to get the money. They definitely appear to be on the collision course that earned the episode its title.

The second clip shows Black Canary, Mr. Terrific (Echo Kellum), and Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez) in the alley where Black Canary and Black Siren last fought. Curtis uses some new tech to create a holographic representation of the last time Laurel was there based on her Earth-2 makeup. Dinah indicates that she would be willing to torture Laurel to get the money, something that her partners aren't quite comfortable with. Rene discovers a tire track that could be from the vehicle Laurel left in.

Arrow airs tonight at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
