Bravo Bringing 'Project Runway' Back Home for Season 17 in March

After an uncertain future for the competition fashion series Project Runway in a post-Harvey Weinstein-Weinstein Company era, there is good news, Designers!

Bravo Bringing 'Project Runway' Back Home for Season 17 in March

Project Runway will return to its original home on BRAVO for its 17th season, coming this spring. Longtime host Heidi Klum and mentor Tim Gunn are not returning, however.

Supermodel Karlie Kloss will host the series, with former Project Runway champion and fashion designer Christian Siriano serving as a mentor to the designers. Editor-in-Chief  for Elle Magazine Nina Garcia will return as a judge, along with fashion designer Brandon Maxwell and former Editor-in-Chief for Teen Vogue Elaine Welteroth.

There will be all kinds of new challenges for season 17: flash sales, fast fashion, the inclusion of plus-size models (not a challenge, but a most-welcome addition to the series), Instagram, and a special Elton John challenge inspired by Paramount Pictures' biopic Rocketman, which stars Taron Egerton.

Klum and Gunn had previously announced their exit after 16 seasons to develop, produce, and headline a new fashion reality series for Amazon Prime Video. Zac Posen will also be appearing in the Amazon series.

Project Runway is set to premiere on BRAVO, the series' original home, on March 14th, 2019.
