Going Dutch S02E09: "Apache Helicopter Parent": Cheesy Peace Talks

With FOX's Denis Leary and Taylor Misiak-starring Going Dutch returning tonight, check out our preview for S02E09: "Apache Helicopter Parent."

We've got a whole lot of shows returning from their respective breaks this Thursday, and that includes FOX and Showrunners Joel Church-Cooper & Hilary Winston's Denis Leary and Taylor Misiak-starring military comedy Going Dutch. This week, S02E09: "Apache Helicopter Parent" sees Captain Maggie (Misik) going from handing out cheese to being responsible for Stroopsdorf's first-ever peace talks – all "thanks" to The Colonel (Leary). In addition to a look at the official overview and images for tonight's return episode, we also have an early look at S02E10: "Heart Locker" and S02E11: "General Dearest" (where it looks like some serious love is in the air).

Going Dutch Season 2 S02E09 – S02E11 Previews

Going Dutch Season 2 Episode 9: "Apache Helicopter Parent" – Stroopsdorf is hosting its first-ever international peace talks, and when Captain Maggie is assigned the seemingly simple task of handing out cheese, The Colonel turns into a full-blown helicopter parent. However, his meddling lands Maggie in charge of all summit events, where every mistake is on her.

Going Dutch Season 2 Episode 10: "Heart Locker" – After throwing out his back, The Colonel is ordered to bed rest. Meanwhile, the base is sent to sweep for landmines at a local farm, where Major Shah suddenly finds himself in serious danger when he steps on one.

Going Dutch Season 2 Episode 11: "General Dearest" –

In FOX's Going Dutch, the arrogant, loudmouth U.S. Army Colonel Patrick Quinn (Denis Leary, The Moodys, Rescue Me) — after an epically unfiltered rant — is reassigned to the Netherlands, where he is punished with a command position at the least strategic army base in the world, notable for its Michelin Star-commissary, top-notch bowling alley, lavender-infused laundry and the best (and only) fromagerie in the U.S. Armed Forces. Surrounded by a diverse group of military misfits, the colonel tries to reinstate discipline and professionalism with the help of the base's previous interim leader, who just happens to be his estranged daughter (Taylor Misiak, Dave).

The series also stars Danny Pudi (Mythic Quest, Community), Laci Mosely (iCarly, Lopez vs. Lopez), and Hal Cumpston (The Greatest Beer Run Ever, Nine Perfect Strangers). Joe Morton (Scandal, Our Kind of People), Catherine Tate (Doctor Who, The Office), and Kristen Johnston (Leanne, 3rd Rock From the Sun) are featured in heavily recurring roles.

Created by executive producer Joel Church-Cooper (Brockmire), Going Dutch is produced by Fox Entertainment Studios and is distributed by Fox Entertainment Global. Church-Cooper and executive producer Hilary Winston are co-showrunners for season two. Denis Leary and Jack Leary are executive producers through their production company, Amoeba.
