Legends of Tomorrow Season 5: Matt Ryan to Remain a Series Regular Plus a New Character
The fifth season of Legends of Tomorrow is looking like it's going to present some interesting changes to the cast. Last season we gained Matt Ryan as John Constantine who, according to TV Line, is remaining on as a series regular. Constantine was one of the best new parts of last season so it's good that the show has recognized a good thing and decided to keep. TV Line is also reporting that they are adding another new character.
Rumor has it that Season 5 will introduce a new male character that can best be described as a cross between Captain Jack Sparrow and a Russian-accented Russell Brand.
At the moment we don't know much about what the plot for season 5 is going to be but considering how this show has really embraced being absolutely nuts it should be a lot of fun to see what they come up with.
Summary: Time-travelling rogue Rip Hunter has to recruit a rag-tag team of heroes and villains to help prevent an apocalypse that could impact not only Earth, but all of time.
Legends of Tomorrow, created by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Phil Klemmer, stars Brandon Routh, Caity Lotz, Dominic Purcell, Nick Zano, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan, Matt Ryan, and Courtney Ford. It will return in 2020.
