Legends Of Tomorrow Season 3: Will Ray Palmer Find Love In The New Season?
In the Arrowverse, Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) hasn't exactly been lucky in love. His wife is killed during the first season of Arrow, he falls for Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) only to lose her to Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell). Then he has a romance with Kendra Saunders (Ciara Renee) on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, only to lose her to Carter Hall (Falk Hentschel). But don't expect that to change anytime soon, even with the addition of Zari Tomaz (Tala Ashe) to the crew.
Ashe told EW.com where she thinks Zari's focus is:
"I don't know that Zari has romance on the mind at all. What you're going to find out this season is that her priorities are on something very, very different, so I don't foresee that being a setup for a romance between them. I think she and Ray are going to be pals maybe down the line, but I don't think it's a romantic thing."
In an interesting twist, Routh's real-life wife, Courtney Ford, has been cast this season as Damien Darhk's (Neal McDonough) daughter. We met his daughter, Eleanor, back in Season 4 of Arrow, but at a much younger age. You may recognize Ford from her time on Dexter or Parenthood.
DC's Legends of Tomorrow airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on the CW.
