Lucasfilm and Disney have released a new promo for the new animated TV show Star Wars Resistance. The promo introduces several of the principal cast members along with various members of the crew. They also released a piece of key art for the new show.

Thus far the reactions from fans on this new Star Wars show have been mixed overall. There are some that are complaining that a show specifically aimed at kids, like it says in the promo, looks too much like a kids show. There are also complaints about the art style and other such things. There also appear to be plenty of adults that are excited and even more parents saying they can't wait to sit down and watch this one with their kids.

Summary: Kazuda Xiono, a young pilot for the Resistance, is tasked with a top secret mission to investigate the First Order, a growing threat in the galaxy.

Star Wars Resistance, created by Dave Filoni, stars Christopher Sean, Josh Brener, Scott Lawrence, Suzie McGrath, Donald Faison, and Bobby Moynihan. It will premiere on Disney XD on October 7th at 10PM.
