First Look at Mondo's Batman: The Animated Series Art Show at SXSW
Brandon Wainerdi writes from South by Southwest:
A continuation of the incredible series that began in 2013, Phantom City Creative and Mondo have teamed up again for a retrospective show at South by Southwest. Tonight is the Austin, TX opening of the gallery, which highlights some of the best moments of the Bruce Timm classic Batman: The Animated Series.
Breathing new life into classic episodes like 'The Cat and the Claw' and (one of my personal favorites) 'The Demon's Quest', you can almost hear Kevin Conroy's growl as you walk through the exhibit. Also on display is Mondo's recent foray into superhero toy collectibles, showing off their Batman and Mr. Freeze figures and teasing many more installments in the series.
If anything catches your eye, hold your breath, cross your fingers, and hope some of these incredible works of art make it online next week (check MondoTees.com religiously).
