More Details About Book of Enchantment the Disney+ Villains TV Show

Two days ago word came down that Disney was working on another TV show for their upcoming streaming service Disney+. All we had was some very basic information but now we have some new details to go along with the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter the show is called Book of Enchantment and focuses on three major villains.

Adapted from author Serena Valentino's book series spotlighting Disney villains like the Beast, Ursula and the witch from Snow White, the drama, which has been in the works for months, will be penned by Michael Seitzman (Quantico, Code Black). Seitzman will also produce via his ABC Studios-based Maniac Productions, which he runs with Christina Davis. The project hails from ABC Signature Studios.

Disney has made a small fortune with their original movie series The Descentants which is about the kids of Disney villains. There is a decent chance that Disney is going to try and spin this as The Descendants but for teenagers and their parents. We currently don't have any other additional information about Book of Enchantments including when they plan on starting production and when we can expect to see the show. It'll probably be sooner rather than later considering that sources say that Disney has been working on this for months.
