Nathan Lane To Guest Star On The Blacklist's 100th Episode
For the show's 100th episode, The Blacklist has tapped a very special guest star: multiple award-winning actor Nathan Lane. According to EW.com, Lane will be playing criminal Abraham Stern, proof that Raymond Reddington (James Spader) isn't the only dangerous man who can wear a three-piece suit. Stern uses leverage over other people's finances to force them into committing illegal or immoral acts, all in an attempt to claim a fortune he says is his birthright.
Executive producer Jon Bokenkamp says:
"Nathan Lane is someone we've wanted to have on The Blacklist for a very long time, so when we started crafting our 100th episode, we decided to try and do something special and write a part specifically with Nathan in mind. Imagine our excitement when he said yes! We couldn't be more thrilled to welcome him to the Blacklist family of criminals, weirdos, and nut-jobs. I promise, watching Nathan Lane and James Spader together on screen is going to be an absolute blast."
Lane is known for his roles in The Birdcage, the Lion King and The Producers along with recent TV appearances on Modern Family, The Good Wife, and The People v O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story.
The Blacklist airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET on NBC. The 100th episode is scheduled to air in January.
