NBC Reportedly Saving Brooklyn Nine-Nine

What an eventful 48 hours for the canceled FOX series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. After what looked like an uncertain future even though the powers that be where doing everything they could to find a new home for the five-season show, it looks like we have a happy ending after all.

NBC Universal has picked up the comedy for a 13-episode sixth season. NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt said in a statement:

"Ever since we sold this show to Fox, I've regretted letting it get away, and it's high time it came back to its rightful home. Mike Schur, Dan Goor and Andy Samberg grew up on NBC, and we're all thrilled that one of the smartest, funniest, and best cast comedies in a long time will take its place in our comedy line-up. I speak for everyone at NBC, here's to the Nine-Nine!"

Co-creator of the series Michael Schur, who goes by Ken Tremendous on Twitter, posted that NBC had picked up the series:
