New Year's Eve Live: Anderson Cooper, Andy Cohen Take Their First Shot

New Year’s Eve Live kicked off with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen taking their first shot for the night early - here's a look!

Well, that didn't take long. After welcoming us to tonight's CNN's New Year's Eve Live with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen wasted little time getting down to the matter at hand – taking their first shot of Tequila for the night. The kick-off toast came after we learned that Cooper was angry about something before they went on the air, but Cohen couldn't embarrass Cooper enough for him to spill some tea. As for the shot itself? Well, they say that the first shot is usually the roughest – and it looked like it here, too. That said, Cooper did share shortly after that he was starting to get that "warm" feeling from the shot, and Cohen took his first dig at Ryan Seacrest's "Rockin' Eve" setup. "If any young people are watching: At a certain point in life, you will become the people you used to make fun of. And that's what we've become," Cooper offered at one point – true words of wisdom.
