Tony Khan Drops Out of Florida Congressional Race
Hours after his candidacy was announced, AEW owner Tony Khan has dropped out of the House of Representatives race for Florida's 4th congressional district, which includes Jacksonville, home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, which the Khan family also owns. Khan cited reasons such as that he was never running and that the filing was fake to explain why he was leaving the race so early.
Khan's entry into the race as a Democrat was first reported by Pro Football Talk:
However, less than three hours later, Khan responded:
Khan dropping out so soon is just another way that AEW is inferior to WWE. After all, Linda McMahon ran for Congress twice and she stayed in the race all the way until the end, at which point, yes, she lost both times. But then she had the good sense to donate millions of dollars to Donald Trump and land a seat on his cabinet, which later led to a lucrative spot running one of his reelection PACs. Linda McMahon definitely would not have quit as soon as someone found her paperwork with such a flimsy excuse as claiming the paperwork was fake.
And it's a good thing Linda stuck with it, because without all of that money the McMahons donated to Trump, who knows whether Florida Governor Ron DeSantis would have declared pro wrestling an essential business at the start of the pandemic! Another public service by The Chadster's beloved WWE that no one ever gives them proper credit for. Auughh man! So unfair!
Thinking more about it, The Chadster is not so cheesed off about Tony Khan dropping out of the race. The Chadster has suffered for two years now at the hands of Tony Khan and his personal vendetta against The Chadster. Tony Khan has personally targeted The Chadster with his wrestling show by giving people an alternative to WWE, which is just so disrespectful. The Chadster can only imagine what kinds of horrors Tony Khan would release on The Chadster if he gained political power, and that's the bottom line 'cause Chad said so.
