Stitched #1, A Comic By Garth Ennis And Mike Wolfer, For November

A few minutes ago, Bleeding Cool announced Stitched, a new film written and directed by Garth Ennis, that will spin off into a continuing comic book series from Avatar by Garth Ennis and Mike Wolfer. The book will be published in November, along with the retail version of the DVD. And the cover gives us a clue as to the look of the Stitched in both the comic, and the movie.

Stitched is given the following tease; "Three little figures stagger across the desolate landscape. Their Blackhawk burning in the rocks and the rest of the crew gone with it, the trio must survive both the terrible conditions and the hostile attentions of the locals. But there are worse foes than Taliban fighters in this ancient land, as an old and terrible force arises to serve a twenty-first century evil."
