Rebellion At Diamond Retailer Day – The Return Of Robo Hunter And Rogue Trooper, New Zenith Art, More Dredd Movie Sequel Comics And Paul Grist's Demon Nic
Straight from yesterday's Diamond Retailer Day in London, the day before today's London Super Comic Con…
Rebellion, talked through many of their 2000AD and Judge Dredd projects, including a heavily promoted jumping on point being supported by a poster campaign, a New Talent Summer Special that seems to be reviving all sorts of 2000AD favourites, new Dredd from Emma Bebby and Eoin Coventry, the classic Robo Hunter returning, Guy Adams and Darren Dougles giving us new Rogue Trooper stories with Dregs Of War, and the return of Orlok from Judge Dredd: Apocalypse War.
We were also promised Judge Dredd: Shooters Night by John Wagner and John McCrea, after McCrea's wonderful Mars Attacks Judge Dredd with Al Ewing. Working with Dark Horse on collecting the Aliens Vs Dredd and Predator Vs Dredd comic. And the return of Nick Percival to 2000AD after nineteen years…
There's also an ongoing serial, Judge Dredd: Uprise in the world of the Dredd movie, continuing the Underbelly story…
And from Paul Grist, Demon Nic, a creator owned series about a priest fighting a war between demons and humans.
Wow. I'm in. And lots more to come!
Oh yes, and new Zenith art by Steve Yeowell for the first mass hardcover collection.
