Sean Philips Illustrating Good Omens For BBC Radio 4

postcard-FINAL-signed (1)It's not uncommon for comic book artists to be asked to illustrate novels. It's less common for them to be asked to illustrate radio adaptations of said novels.

But that's what Sean Phillips is doing, a series of images portraying the characters in the BBC Radio 4 adaptation of Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett in the twenty-fifth anniversary of its publication.

Though he has begun with the writers of the novel (above). More to come.

The adaptation, airing from the 22nd to the 27th of December at 11pm each night over Christmas, will star Mark Heap and Peter Serafinowicz as well as includes Louise Brealey,  Charlotte Ritchie, Phil Davis, Mark Benton, Colin Morgan, Paterson Joseph, Josie Lawrence and Adam Thomas Wright.

While Sean Phillips is also the subject of an exhibition of his work at Orbital Comics in London, with a signing tonight.
