Will Brian Bendis Write 'Time Is Broken' To Follow Secret Wars?
Secret Wars will not affect All-New Hawkeye.
It's looking more and more that, while Secret Wars will see new series launched and relaunched, the current Marvel universe will return in some form or other.
I have started to hear gossip that we will, as speculated, see a Marvel Universe not only with the Fantastic Four and X-Men comics in their own continuity, but titles not seen as part of the concern of Marvel Studios right now will exist in their own continuities and not crossover. However it is much more likely that this is just an echo chamber based on our original post, bouncing back at us from entertainment sources… a bit like when Nikki Finke once reported that Dan DiDio was going to be fired, fan speculation whipped itself up into being semi-believable, despite being based on nothing. It just doesn't pass the smell test.
But, even if Secret Wars goes away, the Battleworld looks like it will remain in some form, with ongoing series set there.
But will Brian Bendis, no longer heading up the Xbooks, be addressing the Marvel Time issue, which Secret Wars doesn't seem to be involving itself with?
The end of Age Of Ultron breaking the universe.
All New X-Men travelling to our time but unable to travel back
Eva Bell changing timelines and undoing the sliding timescale.
Spider-Man 2099 going back and forth, and Spider-Verse taking on time as well as dimensions.
The involvement of Next Avengers in Avengers World.
The Time Gem disappearing in New Avengers.
Time travelling Dog Logan from Wolverine.
Magik working with past Doctor Strange in Uncanny X-Men.
All kinds of Kang things in Uncanny Avengers
Killraven and those War Of The Worlds future visions that used to be all over the place.
Iron Lad and his own future machinations.
Guardians 3000 fighting with a reset button.
And it all starting with that timemap…
Are we reaching the climax of Brian Bendis' epic time travel story that has been seeded across the Marvel universe from title to title? And if it isn't the beginning of the end, is it the end of the beginning?
