"Every Black Kid Knew That Panthro Was A Black Man" – Listen To Ariell Johnson Talk About Why She Opened Amalgam Comics In Philadelphia, For Seven Minutes

Earlier in the year, Ariell Johnson spoke at the Ignite conference about her plans to open a comic store in Philadephia. Planned for the summer, it was delayed until the end of the year, and received considerable media attention after Bleeding Cool ran this short piece about Amalgam Comics And Coffee.

Which has also prompted the Ignite Pilly 15 organisers to post this video to YouTube, with her talking about the importance of diversity in comics as to why she is doing what she is doing…. can you spare seven minutes?
