Tracer Has A New Pose In Overwatch And She Is Still Looking Over Her Shoulder

While I found the conversation about's Tracer pose over the last week genuinely quite interesting philosophically, the political debate surrounding it has been quite silly and draining.

This all started when a forum user complained about Tracer's pose, with calls of being too 'overt' for the character. Blizzard then agreed to change it, causing people to get mad that a pose showing off the character's bum was taken out, claiming censorship. I wrote a whole thing on it.

Well, a new pose has been put in and it should (but almost certainly won't) put an end to this whole thing. It's still a pose that has Tracer's backside towards the camera, just a little more playful now. Take a look:

Honestly, I think the pose is still a little silly, but from what I understand of the character, it shows off her persona better as she's less serious, and more gleeful. That's what I perceived the question to be the entire time, so I'm more or less fine with it.

(and yes, I still find this whole thing is still very silly. The actual game is great though. More on that later…)
