Yes, The Power Rangers Will Pilot DinoZords and Hangout With Alpha 5 In The Film
Power Rangers is an interesting challenge to update to a modern setting given the rather nutty parts of its canon. The series lays on a bunch of ridiculous concepts on the viewer from the outset, and never really lets up.
That's why I was hoping that the film would revel in that completely, and it seems that this version isn't shying away from a lot of the sillier things. Speaking to Nerdist (via ScreenRant), the cast and director confirmed that the Rangers will indeed pilot their DinoZords, and perhaps more importantly, Alpha 5 will feature.
Now, these could be the really 'gritty' versions of these concepts, but for me, I think that would be a shame. Going serious here might make this an incredibly hard sell.
