If You Announce God Country On EW But No One Notices, Does It Make A Sound?
Last week, Entertainment Weekly ran a preview of a new comic, God Country, by Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw from Image Comics.
It was meant to be announced at New York Comic Con. It's just I didn't hear that it was. And searching across social media, no one else seemed to notice it was, either.
So here's an attempt to put that right.
In January, Image Comics published God Country, a new series by Donny Cates and Geoff Shaw.
Where a brutal storm gives one old Texan man, Emmet Quinlan suffering dementia and violent outbursts, new life.
His house is leveled by an enormous tornado, around an enchanted sword, and Emmet emerges a different person. And he now has to fight the other creatures that have also emerged from the tornado and are attacking Texas.
God Country #1 hits stands Jan. 11. Expect solicits to go live next week. Sounds just the comic I'd like to read!
