In Case You Forgot 'The Punisher' Is Happening Here's A New(-ish) Poster [UPDATE]
UPDATE: Moore must have gotten in trouble because he deleted the tweet. We're in the process of trying to track down a screen shot but an image of the poster, from Comic Book Movie, has been added.
There has been virtually no promotion for the upcoming Punisher series for Netflix. It was announced, we got a few brief promotional images, there was barely a teaser, but aside from that you wouldn't have any idea that the show was coming out. Netflix and Marvel don't usually go on months long promotional campaigns for their shows and they are likely waiting for The Defenders to drop in August before we really see anything. We might get at date at D23 or Comic-Con International in July but that's likely it
That didn't stop actor Jason R. Moore, who will play Curtis Hoyle on the show, from tweeting out a new-ish looking poster for the series. We haven't seen this particular poster specifically but we have seen the logo before. We still don't know anything about the series, including a solid release date, but that will likely change in the coming months.
You can't really blame Moore for wanting to show that poster off though; it looks pretty badass.
The Punisher will be created by Steve Lightfoot and will star Jon Bernthal, Jason R. Moore, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Michael Nathanson, Jaime Ray Newman, and Ben Barnes. It will stream to Netflix sometime in 2017.
