Anson Mount, Serinda Swan And Scott Buck Talk Marvel's Inhumans
We have more interview footage from the red carpet premiere of Marvel's Inhumans. This includes Anson Mount who plays Black Bolt and joking how on the set of his last project, Hell on Wheels, he kept pushing for less dialogue… now he has none. There is also Serinda Swan who plays Medusa who says they joke on set that Black Bolt not speaking makes him the perfect husband. The both speak about Maximus, the connection between him and Medusa and the fact that his anger comes from being just human.
They also talk to the much maligned showrunner Scott Buck who talks about how a six-foot stuffed blue bulldog is the sign that you are definitely on a Marvel project. This is a third project for Buck that hasn't gotten the critics excited. His work on the ending of Dexter was not well received and until the current reviews, Marvel's Iron Fist (also his) was considered possible the worse modern Marvel project. The writer / producer has an interesting background, having done animation and comedy before ending up working on Six Feet Under with future Dexter star Michael C. Hall. He wrote a couple episodes of Rome before then ending up on Dexter. It was already announced that he won't be showrunning Iron Fist season 2… so his future with Marvel may depend on the success of this eight-episode season of the Inhumans.
Marvel's Inhumans are showing in IMAX theaters now and will debut on ABC on September 29th.
