Doomsday Clock is less than a month away. And it is likely whatever revelations regarding Mr. Oz and his role in the DC Universe will be up by then. He is currently believed to be Jor-El, the father of Superman and grandfather of Jonathan Kent, but seriously, who knows anymore? It seems unlikely that as Superman's 80th year is upon us, that his father will turn out to actually be a genocidal psychopath willing to see the population of the Earth be destroyed.

Because that, as we see today, is what's coming. Possibly at the hands of Watchmen's Dr. Manhattan…

And having to deal with another of Oz's kidnappees, his future self, the Batman of Tomorrow… because, I suppose, why capture one person when you can capture their future self, as well? And demonstrates a certain time-fluidity to Mr. Oz's nature. So what is coming? Well, Justice League Of America #17 may have a clue, down in the Microverse, looking at the state of reality…
