MST3K Will Return With Another "Turkey Day" This Thanksgiving
No matter what kind of MST3K fan you are, I think we can all agree that we all could use a serving of movie sign with our Thanksgiving meal. In the now time-honored tradition of all things Mystery Science Theater 3000, Joel Hodgson will host a Shout! Factory sponsored Turkey Day Marathon. The event will kick off on November 23rd at Noon EST, along with Jonah Ray and Felicia Day making appearances throughout the program's introductions, bringing you a big 'ol helping of classic MST3K episodes for those of you who enjoyed watching the marathons they used to run on Comedy Central.
The only information being given about this year's marathon is that it won't feature episodes previously shown in marathons, so there are about 165 episodes to choose from. No word yet as to whether or not they'll be playing anything from Season 11, as it is currently still a part of Netflix's library and probably isn't available for the event. There is rumor already online that the event may bring a special announcement, but those of you hoping to hear word about a Season 12 may be waiting a while as there's no indication from Netflix or the MST3K clan that anything is in the works for another return. Just take solace in the idea that we're getting another marathon with family-like members we don't fight with.
