Vermont's first Cartoonist Laureate James Kochalka is returning to comics in March next year with a new graphic novel for adult readers.

Mechaboys tells the story of "two lovable dirtbag teens, tired of being bullied, build a robot battle suit to take revenge on their entire high school. But they never expected to become… kind of popular?"

The publisher Top Shelf/IDW calls it "something like a Charlie Brown special remixed with Superbad, Mean Girls and Iron Man."
