Adam Warlock Isn't Showing up in Avengers 4
Fans have been wondering where Adam Warlock is since we saw his cocoon at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. Warlock is heavily connected to the Infinity Gauntlet and fans assumed he would play a part in these two movies at some point but during an interview with ComicBook.com Joe Russo officially said that Adam Warlock won't be in Avengers 4.
"Yeah [Adam Warlock]'s not showing up in our stories," Joe Russo said. "Look, our job as we said a million times is to tell the story of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, not to do direct adaptations of the comics because we're comic book fans. I have no interest as a director in telling a story that's already been told or in seeing one that's already been told. If I know all the events story as they're going to happen then what's the point of going to the film? We want to keep surprising audiences and continue the story that started with Iron Man […] a decade ago."
So no Adam Warlock in the Marvel Cinematic Universe just yet. Maybe in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 but who knows. We don't know anything about the Marvel universe post Avengers 4 or what kind of place Adam could have within it.
