How Marvel Aim to Increase Orders of Uncanny X-Men #11

Uncanny X-Men #11 is what the current weekly run, Extermination, Multiple Man and more has been leading up to. The kick off of the Age Of X-Man. And Marvel really want retailers to bump up the numbers of this double-sized almost-double-priced issue.

So they are offering retailers Who meet or exceed 200%, 175% or 150% of their total orders of Uncanny X-Men #4 with their orders of Uncanny X-Men #11 increasing discounts. What this means is that retailers could order more than they would have anticipated selling but pay a lot less if they do so. Which could encourage sampling and promotional opportunities in store, or allow retailers to match a demand that, as of yet, has not been generated. But may do by Marvel's promotional activities closer to release date.

Either way, expect Uncanny X-Men #11 to top advance reorder charts this coming week, and in the inevitable Diamond charts to be higher up the unit sales and lower down the dollar sales rankings as a result…
