Genestealer Cults Bring a Big A** Drill to Warhammer 40k
Warhammer 40k players are getting all the cool toys lately! From the new Ork Codex and buggies to all those squidgy Gloomspite Gitz, there seems to be something cool for every Games Workshop fan. Now Genestealer Cults are getting a whole ton of new models, with awesome buggies, bikes, and a brand new scenery piece to boot. It's a good time for fans of grim-dark gaming!
The all-new Genestealer Cults Codex has everything you need to get your bug-worshiping maniacs up and running, with background fluff, unit and character stat blocks, and new psychic powers!
Datasheets let you master a host of new units, while Stratagems, Warlord Traits, Cult Creeds and psychic powers give the army more tactical depth than ever before. If you're looking to field a force where cunning play is just as important as overwhelming firepower or combat prowess, this is the army for you.
The Genestealer Cults Codex also comes with some cool Genestealer Cults token sheets, which allows you to drop little blip counters to represent where your units might ambush from. It's a little nod to Aliens, and should add a lot of flavor to your games! The Genestealer Cults Codex comes in the standard edition, and a deluxe edition:
Genestealer Cults players have been waiting patiently for this one – and, as a reward for the truly faithful, we're releasing an incredible Limited Edition of the codex. Available only while stocks last, this edition is packed in a special presentation box styled after a defaced Imperial tome and includes exclusive content such as acrylic markers, a double-sided poster and datacards. This version of the codex is expected to sell out fast, so get yours early to avoid disappointment.
A new Codex means new models, and there's no shortage this month!
(Atalan Jackals) fast-moving bikers are great for striking at your enemy's most vulnerable flanks and out-maneuvering their attacking positions. The Atalan Jackals kit builds four Jackals, with a range of options for heads and weapons, plus an Atalan Wolfquad, which you'll be able to equip with a mining laser, heavy stubber or Atalan incinerator.
The Sanctus is a brand new assassin character for Genestealer Cultists, and we have no idea what his buddy on the pole does…we're also not in a hurry to find out!
We're also getting the Magus, a character model that promises to flesh out the disciplines available to the army. She's a fantastic model, and would look really cool in a Killteam army, too!
Finally, there's the Tectonic Fragdrill, a new piece of terrain featuring a big freaking drill that can cause tremors in your games of 40k. This model was specially made for Genestealer Cults players, but it will look great on any table!
What's cooler than a massive industrial drill? Not much. What about a drill so big that it can cause localised earthquakes? Probably nothing! Well, the Tectonic Fragdrill can do just that!
All of the Genestealer Cults releases will be up for pre-order on February 3rd, 2019, so contact your local Games Workshop Stockist or independent game store and get your order secured!
