Will Conrad Takes Over Hawkman From Bryan Hitch In June

Okay, well, since solicitations are out an noticed, yes, issue 12 is my last issue of Hawkman. I'd hope to be able to let you all know BEFORE solicitations but somebody dropped that ball at her office. So yeah, the beyond epic issue 12 is, sadly, my last issue.

Originally I was only asked to do the first few, then that became six and then I asked to stay on to see this first epic origin story complete. Working on this book as been a pleasure and a privilege beyond anything I could have hoped for.

Most of that is down to the people I've worked with from @robertvenditti, one of the best collaborations of my career to Andrew, our editor. Gents, stars all of them. But you lot too; you've been immense on your support for the book and `I hope that continues in phase 2.

I know what @robertvenditti has planned and, believe me, its amazing. If there had been any realistic way I could have stayed on for another 38 issues, I would have. This has been simply one of the best times I've had drawing comics and its been a true honour.
