Why You Should Never Make a Deal With Mephisto in Doctor Strange #17 [Preview]

Doctor Strange has really done it this time, as we find in this preview of Doctor Strange #17 by Mark Waid and Barry Kitson.

The recap page shows us how Doctor Strange has screwed up royally, shattering reality in an effort to stop an out-of-control Galactus.

Cosmic being Eternity is none-too-pleased, appearing to give Strange a good old-fashioned lecture.

And it doesn't take long for Strange to figure out where he screwed up…

That's right, Strange owes a favor to Mephisto, never a good demon to find yourself indebted to.

But in this case, Mephisto might actually have the best interests of the universe in mind… because it benefits him for the universe to exist.

Still, he wouldn't be Mephisto if he didn't have some ulterior motive.

Perhaps we'll find out what it is when Doctor Strange #17 hits stores on Wednesday.
