'Fantasy Island' Poster Hides the Evil Lurking Below
Fantasy Island certainly impressed with its first trailer. The Blumhouse produced reimagining of the classic television show debuted footage last week (if you missed it, you can check it out below) and looks genuinely creepy and impressive. Michael Peña looks like he is having a ball, the cast is loaded with talent, and now with this ominous new poster, everything is falling in place for this one to surprise when it opens next year. Between this and The Invisible Man, Blumhouse is set to have a fantastic start to 2020.
In Blumhouse's new spin on Fantasy Island, the enigmatic Mr. Roarke makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island's mystery in order to escape with their lives. Directed by Jeff Wadlow, written by Jeff Wadlow & Chris Roach & Jillian Jacobs and is produced by Jason Blum and Marc Toberoff. Based upon the Television Series Created by: Gene Levitt
Fantasy Island, starring Michael Peña, Maggie Q, Lucy Hale, Austin Stowell, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen, and Michael Rooker opens on February 14, 2020, the perfect Valentine's Day movie!
