Darth Vader Haunted by Images of the Star Wars Prequels in New Darth Vader #1 [Preview]
Star Wars fans, a group colloquially known as Starbronies, are famous for taking things extremely personally. What Star Wars fan hasn't had their life completely ruined by a Star Wars film that doesn't fit their expectations of what a Star Wars film should be? From Return of the Jedi to the Prequels to Force Awakens to Last Jedi to Rise of Skywalker, each subsequent Star Wars film finds a brand new segment of the franchise's fandom to enrage, seemingly worse than the previous film that people were enraged by. But has anyone ever considered that the characters might feel the same way?
Just check out this preview of Star Wars: Darth Vader #1 from Marvel Comics, in which the titular Vader visits his old home and is totally traumatized by scenes from the Prequels.
Can you imagine how mad Darth Vader would be today if he had lived to see the third trilogy? Worse than sand, IMO.
Star Wars: Darth Vader #1 hits stores on February 5th.
