In the 1990 film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie, Leonardo takes on the role of the steadfast and legendary leader of the Turtles. Voiced by Brian Tochi, he was brought to life through some impressive puppetry by Jim Henson's Creature Shop. His commitment to Master Splinter's teachings and his sense of duty to protect his brothers are crucial to his character. Leonardo's leadership is even tested in the film as the Turtles face off against the Foot Clan and their leader, The Shredder.

His responsibilities weigh him down, but collectors can now help share that burden with Iron Studios' latest TMNT: The Movie 1/10 Art Scale statue. Standing 8.4" tall, Leonardo will now join his brothers Raphael, Michelangelo, and Donatello with collectibles featuring their live-action depictions. Leo is wielding his dual katanas with signature blue bandana here, and his puppet suit is getting plenty of realistic detail. These statues really help capture an iconic era of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and this statue is priced at $199.99. Pre-orders are already live along with the other turtle brothers on the Iron Online Store with a Q2 2025 release.

Leonardo – Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie

"In the underground galleries, the heroic anthropomorphic mutant turtle, along with his brothers trained in the arts of ninjutsu since he was a hatchling, wearing a blue bandana and a pair of brown elbow and knee pads, tenses his muscles as he firmly holds his two katanas, the iconic weapons that are his signature in battle."

"With a canister at his feet containing the mutagenic agent called Ooze, a green viscous substance that alters the genetic structure of all organisms it contacts, responsible for the mutation that turned him and his brothers into what they are, he is ready to do whatever it takes to ensure that this substance does not fall into the wrong hands."
