Now This Is a Star Wars Podracing Collectible from Royal Selangor

One of the best parts of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was the introduction to podracing. This spectacle was a fast and exhilarating scene in the movie was a joy to watch. On top of that, we got to see Anakin Skywalker in action for the first time and even more races of Star Wars aliens. Nothing better to showcase that action than with the new podracing diorama statue from Royal Selangor. The statue features both Anakin and Sebula pods going neck and neck again the Tattooine canyon walls. They are sadly not painted but given a silver finish making it more of a trophy feel. This is not a cheap collectible either as it is clocking in and priced at $1,100. To make it even rarer, there are only 500 of these bad boys being made. If you have fancy tastes them this might be the Star Wars collectible for you can find them here

"We have perfect weather today for the Boonta Classic. The most hazardous of all Podraces."

ABOUT THIS DIORAMA

As if sheer size alone were not enough, Sebulba's bruiser of a Podracer also employs its illegal modifications to thwart Anakin's attempts to pull ahead. Careening recklessly against canyon walls, the fortunes of both racers are about to change.

Wonderfully modeled replicas of Anakin's and Sebulba's Podracers, their energy binders crackling, appear to fly above the race circuit landscape, recalling the adrenaline rush of the annual Boonta Eve Classic.
