All New Ghost Rider – Will Marvel Be Forgiven This Time?
Okay, it's true I haven't quite forgiven Marvel Comics for cancelling its nineties Ghost Rider series half way through a story arc without warning, leaving solicited issues hanging in the air, only finishing it many years later when I didn't care anymore.
Also, some may have issues with Marvel cancelling the last Ghost Rider series as the lead was female and there weren't exactly many female lead Marvel titles at the time.
But now he's back. The bad movies are behind him, and he's got a brand new spirit of vengeance as a racer from writer Felipe Smith and Tradd Moore, coming in March.
A high speed street race in East LA leads a young man down the fast and furious road of destiny. Amid an East Los Angeles neighborhood full of gang violence and drug trafficking, 18-year old Robbie Reyes explodes onto the scene as the newest Ghost Rider.
But motorcycles and cars were just the beginning! Robbie has the ability to turn any vehicle into a flaming engine of retribution. And he'll need it. War is brewing in the criminal underworld. But crime and corruption have a new enemy. With the pedal to the metal, Marvel's newest Ghost Rider puts vengeance into overdrive!
He's going to get in a tank isn't he? A flaming tank.
