A Close Call for Anole in Age of X-Man: NextGen #5 (Preview)
The last issue of Age of X-Man: NextGen ended with an explosion, as Anole apparently succeeded in carrying out his terrorist plot to blow up the Hope Summers Memorial Library. Surely, the casualties were immense, and there's no way Anole himself could have survived. This preview of Age of X-Man: NextGen #5 picks up right where that one left off…
But in a shocking twist, it appears that Anole survived!
Not only that, but when he awakens and asks his friends what happened…
It turns out that nobody died. Pretty ineffective terrorist attack, dude.
Still, he did cause a lot of property damage. And the authorities are not going to take kindly to that. Of course, we're talking about Department X…
And it looks like they've shown up right on time. Will these kids get arrested, taken to mutant prison, mindwiped, or worse? Well, Department X is going to have to catch them first. And since this is the last issue of this mini-series and this whole universe is about to reboot soon, our money is on the kids.
Age of X-Man: NextGen #5 hits stores on Wednesday.
