Captain Marvel just came to a #50 conclusion for the Kelly Thompson four-plus year run on the character. But now, ahead of the second Captain Marvel film, The Marvels, Marvel Comics is launching a new volume for the ongoing comic book series, with Captain Marvel #1 in October from Alyssa Wong and Jan Bazaldua.

CAPTAIN MARVEL #1 will mark a revolutionary shift for the iconic cosmic hero as she gets a glow-up courtesy of superstar artist Jen Bartel!
