Alex Winter Teases A New Bill & Ted Comic From Boom?

So, an interesting Tweet popped up yesterday from Alex Winter, the actor who played Bill in the cult classic Bill & Ted movies.

This Bill & Ted cover appears to be illustrated by Jamal Campbell, who's done a Marvel cover here and there. But for what? Boom's recent Bill & Ted's Most Triumphant Return series ended in August. Was this an extra cover they had commissioned but didn't use? Winter's Tweet hints that it's tied to some upcoming news, but it's not about a third Bill & Ted movie.

February 2016 solicitations are going live next week, My bet is he's working with Boom! to tease a second series with Boom. 2016 does happen to be the 25th anniversary of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey and the publisher is reprinting Evan Dorkin's most audacious Bill & Ted's Excellent Comic Book next month, so it would make some kind of sense…
