Everyone who attends BQC's roundtables gets a 6-fold-out cover 2025 sampler, which showcases reviews and art from every 2025 BQC release, and a host of covers from upcoming titles. You can see the entire sampler at the bottom of this piece. Justin Zimmerman told retailers at the show:

"As this is my third year presenting for Battle Quest Comics as their Media Director, you're probably pretty familiar with me by now. (If not, I received my MFA in Film about 20 years ago, and I've been a director, professor, project manager and comic creator ever since.)

"I love my team at Battle Quest Comics, and I'm proud to say we're all working together to build a bridge to the future. For our company, our books and our retail friends. And if our books aren't currently in your stores today, I am proud to say we are dedicated to publishing the best in YA fantasy, action-adventure and science fiction, with a small but robust line of core titles including No'madd, Trident of Aurelia, Steel Siege and most recently The Young No'madds and The 27 Run. Each of which has built upon the success of the last.

"This was reflected in your belief in us – you helped us move two thousand copies each of our most recent #1s, The Young No'madds and The 27 Run: Crash, and we're infinitely grateful. Notably, this year we moved from 3 core titles to 5 core titles – all referenced on the cover of the sampler – and are wrapping our first two trilogies. And next year we move to 8 core titles!

"Currently, we're an exclusive Diamond Comics FOC partner. We're involved in a number of conversations as things are changing in real time, but what I'd like to concentrate on today is the year ahead… and what's to come. After the last couple of years directly sending tens of thousands of actually free comics to stores on Free Comic Book Day, arcs and animated trailers for every release and sponsored signings and events, we feel like we've established a real partnership with retailers across the world.

"And we've built on this relationship by doubling down on our retail incentive covers. 1:5 ratio FREE b covers by some of the most talented artists in the biz. Already this year we've had a wrap by Stewart Kenneth Moore, a collab with Sean Hill and Laura Martin and a digital painting by Clayton Crain. Next it's Michael Kaluta and Barry Kitson for Trident: Corazon and No'madd: Sea of Silent Souls.

"We've also established ourselves to consumers through a number of earned media interviews, reviews and articles, many of which are featured in your sampler. But IGN, AIPT, ComicBook.com, the Beat, CBR and more are amongst them.

"Besides a full-fledged overview of all our 2025 titles, I wanted to note that we have some early looks at what's coming down the road. Most notably is our partnership with board game and online pioneers Plaid Hat. We're creating a series based on their Summoner Wars series, with exclusive playable cards in both the first issue and the trade paperback, as well as a custom deck build.

"Just one of many ways we're working outside the familiar constraints of creator-owned comics and going our own way. Another example is our continued BCAF sponsorship – Boise's library-led, free yearly event that brings creators from across the country for an incredible and educational show. Thanks for helping Battle Quest Quest Comics build its bridge to its future."

Publisher Drew Kafoury, Retail Outreach Lead Megan Marsden and Media Director Justin Zimmerman are all on site…
