Belle, a Grimm Superhero, Leads Zenescope's October 2020 Solicitations

Pennsylvania publisher Zenescope Entertainment have been redefining their brand of "bad girls" comics as an interconnected universe of indie horror and superhero comics. As indie companies attempt significant shifts, with Vault Comics taking a gamble on longer titles again while Terry Moore's Abstract Studios foregoes single issues altogether for the upcoming title Ever, Zenescope is rolling out quarterly issues for some key series. The publisher, known for the long-running Grimm Fairy Tales, Robyn Hood, and Van Helsing series, the last of which is the basis for Syfy's TV series of the same name, are using this format to reintroduce old titles and keep current series fresh. Now, back from their Virtual Beach Con, Zenescope has released its October 2020 solicits. The list of titles includes the return on the once-ongoing series Myths and Legends, as well as the continued adventures of Belle, a superhero reinvention of Beauty and the Beast, and Robyn Hood, which continues the story of Robyn Locksley, a New York City vigilante.
