Bleeding Cool Bestseller List – Batman/Superman Beats The Big Boys
A collation of the top ten charts of a number of disparate stores, measuring sales on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, those who can't wait till the weekend to buy their comics. An indication of unstoppable desire….
Batman/Superman manages to leap higher than a crossover, beating critical darlings like Superior Spider-Man, Battle Of The Atom, Infinity and Forever Evil tie-ins, and a dollar price point sees Letter 44 sneak into the top ten too.

- Justice League of America #8
- Superior Spider-Man #19

Retailer reports;
There was no Dominant Publishers this week and it seemed most money went to NYCC variants then anything else. Walking Dead #115 continues to be the Driving force and there seems to be a last run of Customers picking up Lenticulars.
Batman 66 #4 is probably higher on our list than others because we had a signing event with Jeff Parker.
The practice of a publisher shipping cover A of a title one week and then shipping cover B of that title the following week (or later) should disallowed. IDW, Valiant and Dynamite are all guilty of doing this. Pray Marvel or DC should follow this practice.
make a book one dollar and people will flock to it!
This week DC clocked in really well. Superior Spider-Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Infinity tie ins slowed down surprisingly. Hopefully it is just a case of their fans not being able to get in as quickly as they usually do. Though people have said Angela in the Guardians of the Galaxy seems more of a distraction. She's Gamora without green skin. Angela a character from the 90s is not a character the current generation of readers really care to get to know. Squirrel girl showing up instead would have generated more excitement since she has been used in the last few years
Avengers back issues from the original series have jolted to life. Other than Avengers not much demand this last week for back issues
Nice Steady week after the Walking Dead onslaught from last week. Still trying to figure out how Batman beat out Walking Dead last week with the overall stores #'s, getting close to 900 copies sold since it's release at my location. Nothing really stood out this week with the exception of Guardians of the Galaxy still selling strong.
Afterlife With Archie is such a beast that, even though released last week, still outsold most of this week's products! All the additional press didn't a hurt, I suppose ;)
Afterlife with Archie still holds a spot in the Top Ten for us–sales on this book have been phenomenal, and with good reason. Our Dr. No's custom cover helped boost sales, of course, but people are buying the book because they've heard great things about it!
