There's that scene in the Dark Knight Returns that sticks out, Batman berating himself, counting out the lives of those who have died because he let the Joker live. In Batman Who Laughs #2, by Scott Snyder and Jock, out tomorrow, it goes beyond that. Far beyond that. Going beyond all known medical practices, after the Joker shot himself in the heart, to keep him alive.
And all so that the Joker could release on the world another Batman Who Laughs, in order to defeat the Batman Who Laughs who has been plaguing him. Never say the Joker isn't mad.
And I guess we know where Bruce Wayne stands on MMR jabs, in order to keep his own Batman Who Laughs at bay…
I think he may have a bit of the Bane about him there,
Scott Snyder is still pushing the policies that make Gotham worth living in…if you can afford them…
