Comic Book Censorship Before Comic Con

lawlibraryThe San Diego Law Library is hosting an interactive discussion, titled Censorship: From 1950s Superheroes to Today's Manga, on the Tuesday before San Diego Comic Con.

I'd go, but at that time I'll probably be in the air…

It will be led by the CBLDF's Charles Brownstein, and all attendees will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win the collector's edition book: Comic-Con, 40 Years of Artists, Writers, Fans and Friends.

The library has added to its collection books that deal with comic book censorship or have been censored such as the Ten-Cent Plague, The Horror, Persepolis, and Maus and are currently part of a special display in the library.

Tickets are $10 each, there are 29 left right now…
