ComiXology Gives Away Over $150,000 In Digital Comics At SXSW

One year ago at SXSW, Marvel gave away 700 free digital comic books through ComiXology.

It was an utter disaster after system after system crashed and, well, no one got their free comics for quite some time. In fact no one got any digital comics for some time as the situation took down all ComiXology activity.

But that was then.

This time ComiXology are doing it differently.

At SXSW 2014, they will be sponsoring the Geek Stage for a few days and will be giving out free digital comics and graphic novels before and after the events, as well as handing out 30,000 $5 credits to buy comics on comiXology's Amazon Appstore Android App.
