Compete To Get Your Comics Published For Free By Starburst Magazine

starburst-magazine-388-coverAre you a comic book creator who doesn't want to be paid?

Starburst Magazine has announced a new feature. Encouraging comic book creators to submit one and two page comic book stories for publication in an upcoming issue of the magazine. They are looking for sci-fi, horror, fantasy but not zombies.

And those who are successful, and who see their comics published?

If selected, we will print the strip in a future issue of the magazine and provide you with copies of the magazine for your portfolio. You will also get a small advertising package to be used to help you promote future works.

But be careful if you are sending the work elsewhere,

You maintain rights to the work that you submit. If accepted for publication, we will require exclusivity across all media for six months.

And,

Submissions must not have been printed or published elsewhere.

I get the feeling that the internet may have something to say about this approach…
