DC Comics Makes Batman 142, 143 & 144 Partially Returnable

DC Comics is making Batman a weekly comic for three weeks in February for The Joker: Year One, in Batman #142, #143, and #144

DC Comics is making Batman a weekly comic for three weeks in February for The Joker: Year One, a three-part story running in Batman #142, #143, and #144. But knowing that such a schedule makes it harder for comic book retailers to order effectively in advance, based on previous issue sales. especially when DC Comics is trying to get retailers to boost their sales for the first chapter of the storyline.

So comic book stores who order Batman #142 at 150% of their orders of the previous Batman #141 will qualify for returnability of 25% of their orders of Cover A on all three issues of the story: Batman #142, #143, and #144. DC Comics states that  It's the untold story of pop culture's greatest villain, and DC is making sure retailers are able to order this can't-miss epic confidently by offering returnability on all three issues." And qualifying covers for Batman #142 includes a newly added foil cover by Giuseppe Camuncoli priced at $7.99

The Joker: Year One will be released weekly throughout February: Batman #142 on the 6th of February, Batman #143 on the 13th Batman #144 on the 20th. The previously allocated 1:25 and 1:50 ratio incentive variants are now open to order.
