We also told you about how some retailers in Walmart-deprived communities were planning raiding parties across state lines in some cases, to buy copies in bulk to resell in their store at a markup.

Well, eBay is evidence of their success. Stocks nationwide have been wiped out. And as a result…

They may be only $5 at Walmart — but on eBay, they go for a lot more, from $12 to $16. And the Teen Titans one, which seems to have a reduced distribution compared to Superman, Batman, and the Justice League volumes, goes for up to $23 a copy.

You'll need them in decent condition to make such a sale, of course, as there have been reports of considerable ding-age. Still, if you have a well-stocked Walmart nearby and a comics-disinterested audience base, this looks like a pretty easy flip.
