Even in the Age of X-Man, Hollywood Fails to Respect a Female Superhero in Next Week's Amazing Nightcrawler #2

A lot has been said recently about how Captain Marvel should put to rest the myth that female superheroes don't do well at the box office. Of course, a lot more could be said about the fact that Hollywood should have recognized that long ago. And let's not even get into the fact that, though it was nice of Marvel to finally make a superhero flick with a female lead, they did first make 20 movies without one before giving it a shot.

Things aren't much different in the Age of X-Man, as we see in this preview of next week's Amazing Nightcrawler #2…

This discussion on equality is interrupted when a sabotaged ceiling comes crashing down, forcing both Meggan and Nightcrawler to spring into action.

Well, that shoots down that "startled" reasoning, doesn't it?

At least someone is learning.
