Google's Amazing Little Nemo In Slumberland Google Doodle

I love it when a Google Doodle is comic-related, and this one is rather amazing — an animated Google Doodle honoring the 107th anniversary of Winsor McCay's Little Nemo in Slumberland.  You should be able to see it if it's October 15 where you are.

McCay's work in general and Little Nemo in specific has been influencial on a long list of comic book creators from the beginning of the American (and of course, international) Comic Book industry to the present. It began running in newspapers on October 15, 1905, and is just one example of McCay's towering imagination.  I also particularly enjoy his political cartoons (see a few examples below).

So go check out Google's homage to Little Nemo in Slumberland on their main page — and keep clicking on those dropdowns on the lower right when they appear.
